Description
Surflon specialty nylon coated stainless wire has been used for about the last 10 years on hawk traps with great success. This wire will not rust, degrade by UV light, and will not fail if a rodent is in the trap and bent on chewing the noosed from the inside. The thickness of the nylon coated wire is thinner than monofilament so you get the extra strength without the bulk. We don't see any disadvantage to using this wire on any trap.It is available in 20# and 30# and each spool contains 100 foot of black Surflon with 100 crimps.
Here at Western Sporting we use this wire on our Balchatri and Phai traps with great success.
