      Description

      Rollins' Hoodmaker's Awl

      This hoodmaker's awl is based on a design created by Ron Rollins. The unique curvature of the shank allows for a smooth, consistent movement of the wrist that creates an evenly punched line of holes. The tip of the awl is flat so it makes a slit rather than a round hole, this is important when the hood is "blocked" as it allows the seam to close properly and helps in preventing light leaks in the hood.
