      Description

      Fid Hood Tool

      The Fid is an all around useful tool in hoodmaking. It's smooth-edged tapered shank is ideal for tightening the top knot lace into a perfect Turk's knot, or opening the slits for the braces in the back of the hood. It can even be used for shaping and molding the hood onto the hood block.
