This custom tool makes mounting up your hawk with a tail piece transmitter clip quick and easy. These precision designed tail pieces are made to match exactly the elliptical shape of the quill when closed, the final result when crimping is a snug fit. It is also self centering in the upright position of the feather. With the internal grooves machined on the inside of the crimped end you can use them without epoxy or glue. Clean yet permanent.
Now this tool is shipped with a practice tail piece so you can get the feel or how to attach it to a moulted feather as practice.
